B.I.T.S is a simple system designed to provide investors with an accurate daily $ION.RFX rebase yield through the Ionia Finance Dapp on our website, allowing them to plan and implement their goals accordingly in the short term without being misled by unpredictable price action or unexpected market conditions that can occur when using built-in calculators from other protocols. Transparency and investor mentality are of utmost importance at Ionia Finance, which is why we have developed B.I.T.S. to ensure our investors have the best possible experience.

The B.I.T.S will not only be exclusive to the rebase periods but will also determine the yield of a reflection token is which determined by the underlying asset’s performance and the percentage of the supply you hold. The amount of yield you receive will depend on how well the asset performs in terms of volume and any fees associated with holding or trading the token. Rebase Yield Using B.I.T.S. Calculations

When someone buys this equation will determine their daily minted tokens:

NB = New tokens bought

PB = Number of tokens previously bought

R = Rebase Rate

D = Daily minted tokens Equation:

( NB + PB ) * R = D

When someone sells this equation and function will determine their daily minted tokens:

LO = Left Over Tokens in the wallet

PB = Number of tokens previously bought

M = Total tokens minted

S = Total Tokens Sold

R = Rebase rate

Equation:

PB + ( M - S ) = LO

Functions:

If LO > PB then daily minted tokens don't change therefore PB * R = Daily Minted Tokens.

If LO < PB then LO becomes the new balance therefore LO * R = Daily Minted Tokens.

If LO = PB then daily minted tokens don't change therefore PB * R = Daily Minted Tokens.

Reflection Phase Yield calculations

NT = Number of tokens in Reflexion Treasury

TS = Total supply of $ION.RFS

Y = Yield

( NT / TS) * Percentage of Supply Held by Investor = Y

What if someone sends me tokens?

Your daily minted tokens number will stay exactly the same. You will simply just have more tokens. This is to encourage investors to interact with the ecosystem and or plan a DCA strategy to increase their rewards.
